The pilot launch of the new submission channel took place as planned in April 2016, with Aon Benfield making the first premiums submissions into Central Services followed by the related payments being made to the carriers. Since the launch, Aon Benfield has submitted over 1,600 global standard messages into Central Services and achieved its business targets.
The CSRP team has been building on the initial launch by preparing for the claims release which will see Central Services support its first global standard claims messages. Progress continues in line with the plan for go-live in November 2016. Build and system test have completed and market testing is currently taking place.
Plans to deliver further functionality in 2017 have been built around the scheduled implementation dates for the IMR Refresh Programme. The CSRP releases in 2017 will deliver further claims scope through the release for claims on legacy business binders, queries and proportional treaty, plus a number of smaller items which will be included within these releases. All of the design and analysis work for the releases is on schedule to complete in December 2016. The CSRP Steering Group has approved a number of options to amend the order and timing of delivery during 2017 in the event of any changes to the IMR Refresh plans.
Good progress continues to be made with CSRP adoption. Aon Benfield is planning to extend premiums processing to further books of business and also align to the November 2016 claims release. Miller is preparing to align the February 2017 claims release and the CSRP team is in discussions with further brokers regarding adoption of the new channel. In November 2016 CSRP will also be introducing an online portal which will allow further brokers and service companies to make submissions to Central Services. Build of the portal is complete and brokers are participating in testing. We will continue to demonstrate the online portal to additional brokers and service companies.
